You may work directly with me, Adriana (the owner and lead photographer), or with our talented associate photographer, who is fully trained in our signature posing, lighting, and style.
No matter who captures your session, you can expect the same high standard of artistry, professionalism, and empowerment that defines the Boudoir by Adriana brand.
Why I Do What I Do
I have been doing boudoir since 2013. Boudoir is so precious to me because I love helping people feel better about themselves, inside and out. We all struggle with self image, and I want to help everyone overcome as much of that as I can. I love the WOW factor. I love delivering images and hearing "I can't believe that's me!"
"I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life!" It means so much to me to be able to offer that to women, and that women of all ages trust me to provide them with this experience. You don't need to lose 15 pounds to do a session with me. You don't need to be Beyoncé curvy. You just need to be you. Have fun. Enjoy this moment. You won't regret it!!
Walking the Walk
You’ve probably heard the saying “walk the walk, talk the talk.” When I tell you that I understand exactly how you feel stepping into the studio for a consult or a photo shoot, I am not saying it to be relatable. I am saying it because it is true.
I have been in front of another boudoir photographer’s lens not just once, but several times. In 2017, I also took my own boudoir session using a self timer. At the time, I was watching my clients receive these powerful images and I realized that I needed to walk the same path I was guiding them through.
That moment changed so much for me. I still cannot believe I did that session on my own, but it taught me what vulnerability truly feels like on the other side of the camera.
Some of the most impactful moments in my self love journey came later, when I chose to become a paying client myself. I invested at the same level my own clients do and trusted the process fully. I worked with Brina in Greece and Bali, followed the prep guides, felt the nerves leading up to the sessions, and pushed myself far outside of my comfort zone.
I photographed nude outdoors in Greece. I played dress up and leaned into softness in both Bali and Greece. I trusted the process even when it felt uncomfortable and unfamiliar.
The nerves, the worries, and the body trauma so many of us carry are very real. You are not alone in that. I am here to work through it with you in a safe, supportive, and guided way.
You do not need to arrive confident. You do not need to have it all figured out. I will never ask you to do something I have not done myself.

My name is Adriana Roque, and I’ve been creating intimate portraits for women in Sudbury, Ontario, since 2013. I studied photography at Sault College and graduated in 2012, knowing I wanted to create work that meant something, but I never imagined how transformative this journey would become. From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to build a space for women a space that felt safe, empowering, and deeply personal. What started as a photography business quickly became a calling: a passion for reshaping how women experience boudoir and, more importantly, how they experience themselves.
People often ask, “When did you fall in love with boudoir?”
For me, it wasn’t just about a single moment it was when I started hearing the stories. Stories of how a photoshoot became a turning point in a woman’s life, how it sparked the start of a body‑healing journey, and reshaped the way she spoke to herself every single day. It was then I truly fell in love with boudoir because it’s so much more than images. It’s a powerful reminder of a woman’s strength, worth, and beauty, and it has the ability to transform how she sees herself forever.
Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to creating an experience that goes far beyond the camera. In March 2023, I traveled to Las Vegas to learn from some of the best photographers in the world, deepening my craft and refining my approach. I also attended women’s retreats in Greece and Bali spaces that inspired me to grow as a woman, an entrepreneur, and an artist. The lessons I learned there about vulnerability, empowerment, and belonging have shaped both my life and the heart of my business.
My style of boudoir is moody, intimate, and timeless. natural window light to highlight the curves, lines, and beauty of every woman. It’s more than just a photoshoot it’s an experience that captures your essence and reminds you of the strength, beauty, and bravery you carry within.

My mission is to showcase every beautifully perfect part of you, so you walk away with a sense of empowerment and lasting self‑confidence. I am a self taught MUA and mom of 4 from Warren, Ontario, who developed a love for cosmetics and experimenting with products and looks growing up.
My love for this grew more so I started experimenting with competitive dance makeup on myself as well as my daughter. I started doing wedding makeup for family and friends where I then started my own MUA services with my business EMBELLISH BEAUTY. I specialize in weddings, which led to the last 3 years of being fully booked for the wedding season. I am forever grateful for these opportunities that have been given and for my clientele that keep spreading the word and coming back for services.
