Are Shower Minis Coming Back?

A few years ago, we introduced something inside the studio that quickly became one of our most talked about add ons…

the shower set.

What started as a creative idea turned into two full days of back to back sessions, creating some of the most raw, soft, and powerful images we had seen in a long time.

There is just something about water that shifts everything.

The way it moves across your skin

the way the light catches each drop

the way you naturally let go without even thinking about it

It creates a completely different kind of energy in your photos

Over time, the shower set became an add on within our full boudoir experience.

Something you could choose if you wanted to step into a more playful, a little more vulnerable side of yourself.

And lately…

Madison has been stepping into more of the sets we offer inside the studio.

Watching her create inside spaces I’ve worked in for years has been such a reminder that art is always evolving.

Same set.

Same space.

Different eye.

We ended up playing in the shower set again this week.

No pressure. No plan. Just creating.

And within 20 minutes…

three completely different looks came to life.

It didn’t feel forced. It didn’t feel overly posed.

It felt like the kind of session where you forget the camera is even there.

And that’s when the thought came back…

What Would You Wear? 💧

If we do bring Shower Minis back, here are a few outfit ideas to help you start visualizing your session…

Topless

This is one of our favorite looks for the shower set. It photographs beautifully, feels effortless, and lets the water and light do their thing… truly so fire.

Bra + Underwear

A classic option if you want a bit more coverage while still leaning into that soft, wet-skin look.

Full Nude

For those who feel comfortable, this creates some of the most raw and powerful images.

Skirt or Dress + High Waist Underwear

This adds movement and texture, and gives a slightly more styled, editorial feel while still keeping that softness.

At the end of the day… your comfort comes first.

Every level is valid, and you’ll never be pushed into anything that doesn’t feel aligned for you.

We’ll still guide you through everything the same way we always do, including prep guides before your session, so you feel confident walking in

So… Are Shower Minis Coming Back?

We’re not saying yes just yet…

but we’re definitely thinking about it.

Because we know there are so many of you who have been curious about booking a boudoir session, but jumping straight into a full experience can feel like a lot.

Something like this could be:

A way to step into the studio

A way to experience being guided

A way to see yourself differently… without the pressure

If They Do Come Back…

They would be:

Limited

Short and fully guided

Focused on creating something soft, real, and a little outside the box

And most likely…

they would go quickly.
