Studio Policies

LATE ARRIVAL: CLIENT acknowledges that they must arrive on time for their scheduled session or appointment start time. If the client is late to their scheduled start time, time will not be extended or rescheduled. Refunds are not available for portrait sessions cut short or entirely missed due to CLIENT'S late arrival.

RESCHEDULE: If CLIENT needs to reschedule the session, Boudoir by Adriana will allow for one reschedule without penalty, provided that CLIENT notifies Boudoir by Adriana via e-mail at least 24 hours prior. If CLIENT reschedules their session or appointment a second time, CLIENT shall be invoiced a $50 rescheduling fee, payable within ten days of receipt. In the event that CLIENT reschedules their session or appointment a third time, CLIENT will not be rescheduled and will be invoiced a $100 cancellation fee. If CLIENT fails to notify Boudoir by Adriana of any reschedule/cancellation via e-mail at least 24 hours prior, CLIENT shall be invoiced a $200 fee, on top of any applicable rescheduling fee. If CLIENT fails to pay the applicable invoices within the allotted time, CLIENT's credit card on file will be charged with the owed amount.

CANCELLATION: If CLIENT needs to cancel their session or appointment, CLIENT must notify Boudoir by Adriana with at least 24 hours notice and will be invoiced a $100 cancellation fee. If CLIENT cancels with less than 24 hours' notice, CLIENT will be invoiced a $200 cancellation fee. By signing this agreement, the client agrees to pay a cancellation fee if the client decides to cancel their appointment at Boudoir By Adriana. The client gives Boudoir By Adriana permission to charge the credit card provided with the amount due.

NO-SHOW FEE: If CLIENT fails to attend their session or appointment with no prior notice to Boudoir by Adriana, CLIENT will be invoiced a $350 no-show fee and will not be rescheduled. The client gives Boudoir By Adriana permission to charge the credit card provided with the amount due.

NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER: The retainer is the fee paid to secure the session date. If CLIENT does not pay the retainer, the session date will not be booked. If there is a remaining balance owed to Boudoir by Adriana, it is due two (2) days before the portrait session. Boudoir By Adriana accepts payment via Credit Card. ALL PAYMENTS MADE ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. The associated fee does not include products or prints and those are purchased separately at the viewing & ordering appointment. Product & Print investment starts at $400 CAD. If purchasing items from our "À-La Carte" menu, please note that print credits or discounts do not apply. Interest-free payment plans up to twelve (12) months in length are available. Product purchase is not required.

AGE OF CONSENT, GUESTS and SOBRIETY: Clients must be a minimum age of 20 years old to be eligible for a boudoir session at Boudoir by Adriana. By signing this document, CLIENT confirms that they are at least 20 years of age. Boudoir by Adriana does not permit guests unless otherwise pre-approved. Boudoir by Adriana reserves the right to decline the presence of guests at any consultations, sessions, and/or appointments. It is required that CLIENT arrives and remains sober for the duration of the scheduled session. Should it be determined that CLIENT is not sober at any point, Boudoir by Adriana reserves the right to cancel the session immediately with no reschedule offered or refunds.

SPRAY TANS: If CLIENT arrives to their portrait session with a spray tan, their session will immediately be cancelled with no refunds or reschedules. This is a strict policy as even the best spray tans could stain our very expensive furniture or client wardrobe. Spray tans are covered in all of our client prep guides and emails sent out prior to the session.

HAIR DYE: If CLIENT arrives to their portrait session with recently dyed hair or if their hair dye bleeds during the hair styling process, their session may be limited. CLIENT understands that they may not be able to use certain wardrobe options such as white, light coloured pieces, or VIP Wardrobe outfits, or use certain sets in the studio.

SKIN INFECTIONS OR COLD SORES: If CLIENT arrives to their portrait session with a skin infection or cold sore, their session will immediately be cancelled. This is a strict policy as skin infections and/or cold sores are contagious and could be spread to staff or other clients. If CLIENT fails to notify Boudoir by Adriana, CLIENT is responsible for the costs associated with replacing the makeup artist's products and applicators, as well as Boudoir by Adriana's furniture and client closet items, and will be invoiced accordingly.
